Incoco Nail Polish Applique

This set of Incoco nail polish appliques came in my September 2011 Birchbox, much to my excitement. Until now, I hadn’t tried nail strips, despite passing by the Sally Hansen branded strips almost every time I’m in Target or a drugstore.

Incoco appliques come in solid color manicures, French manicures, and design manicures. The set I received was from the design line; I believe they’re the Femme Fatale strips, though the picture on the site is slightly different than what you’ll see below. Not sure what that’s all about.

Because I recently cut my nails down a bit, I was able to cover two fingers with one strip, which means I’ll get to use the leftover strips at a later date. The instructions tell you to use them immediately after opening, but I taped the package shut after I took the first set of strips out… hopefully the second set will last until I need them again.

The strips applied easily, and I finished them off with a quick coat of Seche Vite to increase durability.
